Feeling grey all over.

There has been so much rain these last few days that it seems as though the sun has gone for good. We are huddled under quilts, cat-snuggling and dreaming of wood burning stoves.
Update - in the time it took for the pictures to upload, the rain has stopped. Only to be replaced by soggy, wet snow.

A brief flash of sunlight appeared earlier on in the week and I rushed outside into the freezing cold to remind myself that there really is light in the world. I think I'll have to rely on the knitting to bring colour into my life until the Spring arrives.

So few opportunities for pictures have occurred, that I resorted to snapping some house DIY in progress. Oh that poor bear!

Jeni I feel exactly the same.Grey grey grey ...too much grey! But your pictures are beautiful...love that flash of pink :-) We are dreaming of log burning stoves too,and think we might get one before the end of Winter. What sort of DIY is happening up there?

Pph bear startled me considerably. At first I thought it was a Magnus paw.

Love the colors and swirl on the last photo.

Even my nine year old asked how much longer until Spring arrives. It's been very cold here with much snow...and we have a long way to go! Think warm thoughts!

Be careful what you wish for! We've had some sun the last few days (between fogs) and it revealed all the dirt that collected in my house. I'm so tired of cleaning...

Lots of warm colour is a good antidote to too much grey in your world.

Hello, love your blog and I was just stunned for a second on the first picture of feeling grey. That paw thing looked a bit strange and I kept on reading you blog. Then I came to the part when your Magnus lost a bit of tail. I came back up after the reading and I was stunned again and I decided to read the comments and Cindy G's comment made me realize my confusion and all fell into place. I need glasses and common sense sometime. It's a joy reading your blog. Thanks
